While I'm writing this blog, today is Friday and you know Friday means more traffic. I dedicate my life to work as a Software Engineer to one of the top Software company here in the Philippines. After three years working in Metro Manila I realize I almost spend my life in my transportation going to my office and back home here at Cavite.
I don't give yet a number of hours I spent everyday just to go to my office, maybe this is not only happen in Cavite but also in Bulacan or other nearby province. I almost spent an average of 2-3 hours a day going to office and 3-4 hours a day going back to home. Notice, going home is more hours than going to office because its around 4 in the afternoon. So this mean I roughly spent my 5-7 hours a day just for transportation. Yet I continue to work as a Software Engineer ☺☺
Luckily, my company offers a flexible time shift it means that if you go early as 7 am you can go home as early as 4 pm. So my tip is find a company that offers flexible time, this relieve me some stress and maybe other employees too.
I'm thinking to find other software company here in Cavite, but no luck at all. Yes, I'm tired of 5 hours a day just for transportation, I can do a lot of things in 5 hours like sleeping, learning new things, and play sports like Tennis or Basketball or Virtual games 👊. Hoping someday there will be more companies here not only in Metro Manila but in Cavite.
Btw, I am from Tanza, Cavite. Not familiar? This Municipality is close to Trece Martires City. Not familiar also? Maybe Naic. ✋
